Please note that 2 of the chemicals, the NO3 & NH4 Urea Test Chemicals iin the UpH-3 Kit next to # 2 above, are considered hazardous material and fall under the HAZMAT shipping regulations. Therefore, when shipping outside of the 48 lower states and internationally, prices become a good bit higher due to higher shipping costs. However, I encourage you who are outside of the USA to look at this from a per month cost basis. Here are some examples:
U.S. Example
1. 120 ml of each NO3 (60 ml bottle x 2) & NH4 (30 ml bottle x 4) = $100.80. See Pike Agri-Lab, Inc at http://www.pikeagri.com/Urine-Test-Replacements/View-all-products.html . Note that the NO3 is listed as a 30 ml bottle for U.S. shipments. Otherwise they are sent in 60 ml bottles. Shipping in the lower 48 states from Pike is $9.99. Total = $110.79 2. Per month cost for 3 years (36 months) = $3.08 per month.
International Example - We'll use a $400 example.
1. Cost of 120 ml of NO3 (60 ml x 2) & NH4 (30 ml x 4) + Air Freight = $400.00. 2. Per month cost for 3 years (36 months) = $11.11 per month.
Difference = $8.03 The per month dollar difference is not that large and is not worth risking one's health over.
