Descriptions
5-HTP
(5-hydroxytryptophan): Each capsule contains 50 mg of 5-HTP extract from Griffonia simplicifolia. Each batch is tested to assure
absence of "peak X". Which is suspected to be involved in the toxic
effects of L-Tryptophan produced by genetically engineered bacteria. 5-HTP is available in bottles of 30 capsules. (C)
Algazim: Algazim is a special low salt Norwegian fjord kelp that is
rich in iodine (225 mcg per capsule) and contains small amounts of numerous other trace elements. Algazim is also rich in vitamin A
(carotenoid) and is one of the few vegetarian sources of vitamin B12.
Algazim kelp is quickly frozen and dried after harvesting, thereby
preserving all of the natural vitamins and enzymes. Algazim is available in
100 and 250 count bottles or 10 oz powder jars. (NE)
Alpha-Lipoic Acid: Alpha-lipoic acid is a dual purpose nutrient: an
essential cofactor in energy metabolism and powerful antioxidant that is
especially useful in the mitochondria of cells. Each bottle contains 60
capsules with 300 mg of alpha-lipoic acid. (MS)
Beta 1,3 Glucan: This high potency beta glucan is derived from the
cell wall of the yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). This is the type recognized by the white blood cells known as macrophages. Beta 1,3/1,6-D-Glucan contains 100 mg of beta
glucans and is available in bottles of 60 capsules. (C)
Brewer’s Yeast: Our Brewer's Yeast is a rich source of amino acids
and B vitamins, containing 500 mg of natural brewer's yeast. Brewer’s
Yeast is available in bottles of 250 tablets. (NE)
CLA: This high quality CLA blend is from safflower oil with 74-83%
CLA. The CLA consists of equal part cis-9, trans-11 and trans-10, cis-12 isomers. Each capsule contains 1,000 mg of CLA and is available in
bottles of 60 softgel capsules. (Caramel Color, Gelatin, Glycerin, St.
John’s Bread Ext., Titnium Dioxide Color)
Colostrum: Colostrum is "a specialized secretion of the mammary
glands that is produced during the first few days after parturation. It
differs from typical milk in its higher content of protein (as albumin
and globulins), antibodies, vitamins, and minerals and its lower content
of sugars and fats, it also supplies essential immune bodies to the young
animal and aids in the establishment of the intestinal function" (Websters Third New International Dictionary). Colostrum
contains special anti-viral and anti-bacterial factors such as lactoferrin,
interferons, lysozyme, and special fatty acids. This is dehydrated and
encapsulated with 300 mg per capsule. Colostrum is available in bottles
of 100 capsules. (MS, SD)
DHEA: This is pure pharmaceutical grade DHEA
(dehydroepiandosterone) and not the Wild Mexican Yam extract.
DHEA has 25 mg. per capsule and is available in bottles of 90

(EPA)Omega-3 Fish Oil: This molecularly distilled fish oil has twice
the concentration of EPA & DHA as most fish oil supplements. There
is 360 mg. EPA and 240 mg DHA from sardines, anchovies, culpea,
sprat, and salmon. Vitamin E (5 mg. mixed tocopherols) is added to
prevent oxidation. Daily Omega-3 Fish Oils are available in bottles of
60 and 120 softgel capsules. (bovine gelatin, glycerin)
Evening Primrose Oil: Oil of the evening primrose (Oenothera
lamarkiana) is a rich source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA). Each
capsule contains 500 mg of cold-pressed oil. Our evening primrose
contains 9% GLA and 10 IU of vitamin E as a preservative per capsule.
Evening Primrose is available in bottles of 100 and 250 softgel

Flaxseed Oil: Organic Hi-Lignin Flaxseed Oil is a wonderful vegetarian source of omega-3 fatty acids (primarily linolenic acid) as well as
the lignins which are found in flaxseed, but not normally in the oil.
Each gelatin capsule contains 1000 mg of oil. Flaxseed Oil is available
in bottles of 120 softgel capsules. (Gelatin, Glycerin, St. John’s Bread)
Grapeseed Extract: Each capsule contains 50 mg of red grape seed
extract. The polyphenols in the grape seed include oligomeric proanthocyanins (OPC), a type of flavonoid, that is believed to be the most important active ingredient. This extract is 92% polyphenol, 68% OPC
and lemon bioflavonids 100 mg. Grapeseed Extract is available in
bottles of 60 capsules. (C)
Grapeseed & Pinebark Extracts: This is the original product developed by Professor Masquelier (OPC-85TM, U.S. Patent 4,698,360). This
product is a blend of grape seed extract, pine bark extract that contains
85% OPC and lemon bioflavonids (100 mg). Both grape seed and pine
bark are very rich in OPC but have other
phytochemicals that distinguish them from each other and may offer additional benefits. OPC is
available in bottles of 60 capsules. (C)
Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2): Hydrogen Peroxide is food grade (3%)
and has 16 oz per bottle. (NE)
L-Carnitine: There is 500 mg of L-Carnitine from L-Carnitine L-Tartrate per capsule. This product is available in bottles of 30 capsules.

Lecithin Granules: These GMO tested soy lecithin granules are 97%
phosphatides. The specific phosphatide content includes phosphatidylcholine (22%),
phosphatidylethanolamine (23%), phosphatidylinositol
(20%). A teaspoon (2.35 g) supplies approximately 80 mg of choline.

humans. Coenzyme Q-10 is used by the electron transport system in

per capsule, Daily Coenzyme Q-10 is available in bottles of 60

Ubiquinol: Coenzyme Q-10 occurs in two major forms – oxidized
and reduced, known as ubiquinone and ubiquinol. Coezyme Q-10 is an
essential part of the electron transport chain which shuttles electrons
obtained from food to form ATP, the major energy molecule in the body. In
its electron shuttle activity coenzyme Q-10 is constantly cycling between
the oxidized and reduced states, therefore both forms are essential for
energy production. However, several studies have shown that the
reduced form is more efficiently absorbed in the intestinal tract. Both forms need to
be taken with meals containing dietary fat to be absorbed most efficiently.
Whidden’s Royal Jelly: Royal jelly is the substance that causes a bee
larva to turn into a queen bee. Whidden’s Royal Jelly is harvested and
then stored in a honey base. Each teaspoon contains approximately 100
mg of Royal Jelly. Each 11 ounce jar contains approximately 5600 mg

(NE): No Excipients - Many
products contain no excipients.
(C): Cellulose - Also known as
microcrystalline cellulose. A purified
plant fiber used as a filler, flowing
agent, and aids tablet disintegration.
Besides aiding in manufacturing, cellulose
supplies a high quality dietary fiber.
(CL): Chlorophyll - Natural plant material
used as a protective coating on tablets.
(CS): Croscarmellose Sodium - This form of
cellulose absorbs large quantities of
water and expands rapidly. This is used in
small amounts to help tablets
disintegrate. This effectively eliminates
the problem of undigested tablets.
(MS): Magnesium Stearate - Magnesium
stearate is made by combining magnesium
with vegetable oils. Magnesium stearate
assists in allowing ingredients to flow
into tablet dies and capsules.
(S): Shellac - A natural coating produced
from tree resins by insects and collected
by farmers in India. Used on a few tablets
that need protection from oxygen and
moisture.
(SD): Silicon Dioxide - A natural silica
used as an anti-caking agent, that allows
―sticky materials to flow. All
silica is poorly absorbed, but does add
some silicon to the diet. Typically used
in concentrations of 1% or less.
(SO): Soybean Oil - This natural
vegetable oil is frequently included in
soft-gel capsules containing fat soluble
vitamins or oils.
(SA): Stearic Acid - A natural vegetable
oil often used as a lubricant to allow
difficult agents to flow. Used in small
amounts (usually 2% or less) therefore,
not adding significant calories from fat.
