Herb
Product Descriptions
Barley Grass: Bulk Dehydrated Powder: Organically grown barley grass is
harvested after 200 days of growth in the Winter, when nutrient density is at its peak. The barley grass is then milled using a patented cryogenic milling
process that preserves all of the nutrients, insuring that the final product is a fresh raw food. This
product only contains barley grass, a truly exceptional food, and can be mixed with
water or juices for a healthful beverage. Dehydrated Barley Grass is available in 16 oz
bottles. (NE)
Black Walnut Tincture: Green: Black Walnut Tincture is made from green,
black walnut hulls with distilled water and food grade alcohol. Black Walnut Tincture
is available in 4 oz. bottles. (NE)
Cat’s Claw Extract / Herb Blend: This quality herb from South America
is provided in a blend of whole raw herb and herbal concentrate that is standardized to
3% sterol potency. Cats Claw is available in bottles of 60 capsules. (MS)
Cayenne Pepper: Cayenne is a time tested herbal remedy that remains
popular
to this day. The capsule form provides the benefits of cayenne without the pain. This
high quality cayenne pepper is rated at 40,000 heat units. Each
capsule has 260 mg
of cayenne and is available in bottles of 90 capsules. (NE)
Chia Mia Seeds: Daily ―Chia Miaǁ seeds are organically grown in South
America. Chia seeds are a rich source of complete protein, high in omega-3 fatty
acids, and so high in fiber that many people use them as a mild laxative and stool
softener. Chia seeds are a high energy food, and can be used whole or ground into a
flour. They are the natural mixed color seeds that have been used for thousands of
years. These seeds have all of the natural pigments, and have not been subjected to
selective culture to produce a visually uniform pigment-free grain. Chia Mia seeds
are available in 1 pd. and 3 pd. containers.
Echinacea Root: Echinacea angustifolia is also known as the purple cone-flower.
This herb was valued by the Native Americans and frontiersmen as a remedy for
snake bites and infections from wounds. Echinacea is still one of the most popular
herbal medicines today, though not for snake bites. Each capsule contains 350 mg of
pure Echinacea angustifolia powder and 100 mg of
Echinacea purpurea extract (4%
total phenolics). Echinacea is available in bottles of 90 capsules. (MS)
Garlic Fresh: Daily Garlic Fresh provides all of the active factors of fresh garlic that made it a cornerstone of natural medicine for centuries, without the garlic breath. The proprietary processing of the garlic bulbs plus the enteric coating
makes it possible for Garlic Fresh to deliver the bioactive components of garlic directly to the small intestine, preventing burping, breath odor and protecting the garlic from degradation by stomach acids. Each capsule has 500 mg. of garlic
concentrate which is equivalent to 3 grams of fresh garlic. Garlic Fresh is avail-able
is bottles of 90 capsules. (SO, gelatin, bees wax, water, lecithin, calcium carbonate,
enteric coating [(C) aqueous shellac, (MS)]

Garlic Plus is available in bottles of 150 capsules. (MS, SD)
Ginger Root: Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a popular spice, especially in oriental
cooking, as well as a warm and stimulating medicinal herb. Ginger is often used
externally in warm baths. Ginger root powder is also available in capsule form. Each capsule contains 280 mg of certified organic ginger root powder (Zingiber officinale). Ginger Root Powder is available in bottles of 100 capsules or 16 oz containers.
(NE)
Garlic-Sensible Garlic: Modern research has demonstrated that most of the
biologically active chemicals and health benefits of garlic (Allium sativum) can be
preserved when garlic is properly deodorized. This deodorized garlic concentrate is
2.5 times more potent than fresh garlic, yet with much of the aroma normally
associated with garlic deactivated. There is 600 mg per capsule and is available in
bottles of 150 capsules. (MS, SD)
Ginkgo Biloba: The ginkgo or maidenhair tree (Ginkgo biloba) has been considered
almost magical in oriental medicine. Each capsule contains 60 mg of 50:1 ginkgo
biloba standardized extract (with 24% ginkgo flavoglycosides) and 300 mg of whole leaf Ginkgo biloba. Ginkgo Biloba is available in bottles of 90 capsules. (NE)
Goldenseal Root: The root of the goldenseal plant (Hydrastis canadensis) is
probably the most important herb in American folk medicine. It is often used both
internally and externally, and its astringent and antiseptic properties are well
established. Excessive internal use will cause irritation to mucus
membranes, so this
herb requires moderation in use. Each capsule contains 500 mg of golden seal root
and is available in bottles of 75 capsules. (MS)
Milk Thistle: Milk Thistle is a potent blend of 250 mg standardized extract of milk
thistle (Silybum marianum), (80% silbinin) and 250 mg of whole milk thistle seed

temperatures and carefully handled to provide all the nutritional factors found in the raw juices. Power Caps are rich in vitamins, minerals, active enzymes, chlorophyll, carotenoids, flavonoids, and other naturally occurring phytochemicals. Each capsule contains 185 mg each of the

process so that all the beneficial properties of the raw juice are retained.
Each capsule contains 500 mg and is available in bottles of 150 capsules. (C, MS, SD)
Wheat Grass Bulk Powder: This product is the same organic wheat grass from which the above juice is prepared. This bulk form is the whole wheat grass that

properties of natural wheat grass. Wheat Grass Bulk Powder is available in 16 oz
canisters. (NE)
Non-Active
Ingredients Note that IF such are used in a particular product, they
are identified by an abbreviation in the product description. Below you
will find descriptions to each of these.
(NE): No Excipients - Many products contain no excipients.
(C): Cellulose - Also known as microcrystalline cellulose. A purified plant fiber used as a
filler, flowing agent, and aids tablet disintegration. Besides aiding in manufacturing,
cellulose supplies a high quality dietary fiber.
(CL): Chlorophyll - Natural plant material used as a protective coating on tablets.
(CS): Croscarmellose Sodium - This form of cellulose absorbs large quantities of water and
expands rapidly. This is used in small amounts to help tablets disintegrate. This effectively
eliminates the problem of undigested tablets.
(MS): Magnesium Stearate - Magnesium stearate is made by combining magnesium with
vegetable oils. Magnesium stearate assists in allowing ingredients to flow into tablet

farmers in India. Used on a few tablets that need protection from oxygen and moisture.
(SD): Silicon Dioxide - A natural silica used as an anti-caking agent, that allows

(SO): Soybean Oil - This natural vegetable oil is frequently included in soft-gel capsules
containing fat soluble vitamins or oils.
(SA): Stearic Acid - A natural vegetable oil often used as a lubricant to allow difficult
agents to flow. Used in small amounts (usually 2% or less) therefore, not adding
significant calories from fat.
